Meet Dr. Issada Thongtrangan

Issada Thongtrangan, MD

Dr. T has achieved the highest level of training in neck and back surgery completing fellowships in both Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Surgery. During Dr. T’s fellowship at the world-renowned Stanford University Medical Center, he gained experience in complex spinal reconstruction, scoliosis, tumor and revision surgery for patients who have undergone previous spinal surgery without success.

He then went on to complete an additional fellowship in Orthopedic Spine at the prestigious Texas Back Institute where he had an opportunity to focus on minimally invasive techniques and artificial disc replacement. He’s also a Fellowship-Trained in Adult Reconstruction at University of Minnesota where he mastered his surgical skills in hip and knee replacement and a Fellowship-Trained in Orthopedic Trauma at Medical College of Virginia. As a resident at the esteemed Medical College of Virginia, he was given the “Best Resident Award” based on his excellent patient care, surgical, and teaching skills.

Dr. T is the Head Surgeon at Minimally Invasive Spine and he oversees the team at Modern Ambulatory Surgery Center. His hands on involvement and expertise provide additional care and confidence in the successful and healthy outcome of each spine surgery. All of Dr. T’s patient will received personalized care from Dr. T and his entire team at Minimally Invasive Spine.
