Susanne’s life has change since undergoing Ultra MIS Spine Surgery. Pictured here just days after surgery, giving the ‘thumbs up’ and a big smile. Her husband has his wife back, her children have their mom back, and Susanne has her passion for life back. This could be you!
Our Ultra MIS Spine Surgery encompasses the latest techniques and technology utilized in our minimally invasive, endoscopic (use of a small camera), and laser assisted spine surgeries. As a team, we create a surgical blueprint prior to surgery that is individual to each patient. This means we actively incorporate the benefits of each ultra conservative modality to gain the best possible results for each of our patients. In spine surgery, we know LESS is more!
A bulging disc is quite common, and usually remains undetected until the disc bulge comes in contact with adjacent nerves leading to pain and other symptoms.
Degenerative disc disease is not truly a disease, but more of a chain of events that naturally occur as we age. There is no avoiding degenerative disc disease, but you may slow its progress.
As the outer shell of your disc begins to toughen or dry up, a painful crack or tear could happen. Learn what a disc tear is, and how you can recover from it.
Facet Joint Syndrome refers to the degeneration of the arthritic changes that occur in your facet joints. Age and daily wear and tear are the most common culprits.
Foraminal Stenosis describes the narrowing of the foramen. As the foramen narrows, exiting nerves can become compressed causing pain and other symptoms.
I am sailing through recovery. The post surgery was not as hard as I had anticipated. It is so nice to have the radiating pain GONE! I can open and shut my hands easily now. I do not have any shoulder or arm pain either. I only took the pain meds the first couple of days as I wanted to stay ahead of the pain but even then I only took ½ dose. I quickly discovered I did not need it. However, I do like the muscle relaxer. My upper back gets tight and the relaxer does its job. My family thinks I am good at tolerating pain but I truly would not even call it pain….maybe uncomfortable but not pain. The radiating pain I was experiencing pre surgery was far worse than the after surgery discomfort. Thanks again! The surgery team made me feel well cared for and I wasn’t nervous or scared at all. I felt I was in good hands. I am so grateful for the advanced skills each of you exhibited while caring for me. It was fun having the team to myself. I felt like a princess.
I am very grateful for this place. If you are injured and in pain do not hesitate to come here. Over the years I have had lots of experience with doctors. Here at Arizona Pain Treatment Center in Mesa, Arizona I get treated like family. The customer serve here is the best. Dr Nasser is a great man. I have been coming to him for treatment for about 5 months now and believe me he is great at what he does. I don't just feel like "another patient" with him. He takes the time to listen to me and he makes sure I get what is in my best of interest done. I know Dr Nasser is very experienced and he has gained my trust 100%. The staff upfront is also great! They are very patient and friendly. Joe, Kelsey, Derika and Trina thank you all for your kind service. You guys are all a great team I appreciate all of you. I will continue to come to this place because the service is 10 star! Thank you again and God Bless you! I'm a very happy patient!!!!!!
